A certified public accountant since 1978, Butch has also earned the professional designation of Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU).
Butch began his career at Nationwide Insurance where he held the positions of Manager of Internal Audits, Director of Accounting and Tax Reporting, and Regional Operations Controller from 1981 through 1992. This gives him in-depth experience in business management, planning, systems and controls.
Butch also has co-owned and operated a restaurant since 1977 and opened a second restaurant in 1999. This background gives Butch comprehensive small business experience and a unique perspective of restaurant operations, including: concept development, business planning, financing, restaurant build-out, systems implementation, financial management and control, and taxation. Butch specializes in restaurant management consulting and strategic planning services.
Butch is an integral part of the firm's litigation support services. He has been involved in various valuation matters that required his investigative accounting skills and has participated in numerous fraud investigation engagements.
