Brian A. Russell is a CPA, Accredited in Business Valuations and a Certified Valuation Analyst. He is a principal of The Valuation Group and the Managing Partner of Russell, Mealer & Kalb, CPAs. Brian specializes in the valuation of closely held businesses and related litigation support services. He also performs forensic accounting services and computations of personal economic damages and lost profits analysis for business interruption.

He has valued over 125 businesses since 1989. He has given deposition and trial testimony related to business valuations and economic damages on numerous occasions. Brian has been qualified as an “Expert Witness” in Federal Bankruptcy Court and in Crawford, Delaware, Fairfield, Franklin, Richland and Union counties within Ohio. Brian holds a Certificate of Educational Achievement from the AIPCA and has completed over 300 hours of Continuing Professional Education in the areas of business valuation and litigation support.

Brian also provides business and tax consulting services. He has assisted numerous clients with the selection and implementation of accounting and management information systems.
